  • Registered with NMC (mandatory for nurses)
  • Registered with GMC (mandatory for doctors)
  • Planning and organisational ability
  • Able to establish a chronology of key clinical events and identify emerging issues
  • Able to write analytical and comprehensive reports, which include generating findings, conclusions and making recommendations
  • Able to test and review evidence and hypotheses
